"Louis XV Style Bombé Commode – Rosewood Marquetry"
A Louis XV style commode with three curved drawers. The decoration is executed in rosewood and violet wood veneer, forming geometric patterns. The uprights are highlighted by finely chased gilt bronze mounts, as are the Rococo-inspired handles and keyhole escutcheons. Dimensions: W 105 x H 89 x D 49 cm. Very good overall condition and solid structure. Note: a small, discreet chip in the marquetry on one foot, visible in the photograph.
