Jean Pierre Helle, son of the Swiss painter Jean Helle, a former student of the Geneva School of Decorative Arts, stylist and designer at Bulova, won the Golden Rose in Baden Baden in 1975. Settling in Magerouan in the Ardèche region in 1970, he began, alongside his work in high-end watchmaking, a career as a painter and sculptor to which he devoted all his time after 1975.
