Antique Butcher's Block With One Large Drawer
Antique beechwood butcher's block with an end-grain top (wood laid vertically with the grain running in the direction of its fibers). It opens with a large drawer. The shaped back panel is adorned with a brass bull's head. It rests on four umbrella-shaped legs, reinforced with iron plates at the corners, and includes two original tools. Early 20th century. The top is slightly worn from use; we have fully restored it. This piece of professional furniture is ideal for decorating a kitchen or reception room and, of course, is perfectly usable.
