In the style of Louis Gabriel Blanchet (1705-1772), an old portrait depicting a man at his desk holding a letter. In good, original condition, with two old restorations (see photos), it could use cleaning or further restoration. There are two small areas of paint loss at the top, above the head. Oil on canvas, late 18th or early 19th century. Dimensions: H 81 x W 65 cm
