Oil on canvas depicting the presumed portrait of the Duke of Burgundy as a child. Attributed to François de Troy and his workshop, 1645-1730. Louis of France (1682-1712), grandson of Louis XIV, succeeded his father as Dauphin of France upon his death in 1711. He was the father of the future Louis XV. Relined, antique tortoiseshell frame. 67x58 cm with frame.
