A very rare Carrara marble sculpture depicting a seated bather on a base with a lakeside scene, signed on the back of the base by Carlo Pittaluga, dating from the 1900s. This early work showcases his expertise in female figures, blending neoclassical tradition with a delicate sensuality expressed in the rendering of the garments that cling to the diaphanous form.
