"Etling - Opalescent Candy Dish With Raspberry Decoration "
A pale blue opalescent pressed molded glass bonbonnière decorated with raspberries, from the Etling Paris company, circa 1920. Signed Etling 110 France in high relief. Edmond Etling was a Parisian dealer in decorative arts. He was one of the most active publishers between the two World Wars, selling his products in his shop on the rue de Paradis. Etling glass was known for its pale blue opalescence—it was considered a product of Lalique and Sabino, but also of Loetz, and others. Designs were made for Etling bearing his name.
