It also has two side pull-out drawers, each with brass knobs. These drawers are lined with tan leather and highlighted with a gilt vignette. The projecting top is made of white Carrara marble with subtle gray veining. It is surrounded by an elegant openwork gallery of gilt brass. The base consists of four tapered and fluted legs, adorned with striated brass plaques at the top and sabots at the bottom.
