Box, Case, Case - Silver Cigarette Case
A 925 sterling silver cigarette or card holder. The lid is decorated with radiating lines emanating from an 18K gold shell-shaped element set with two small rubies, one baguette and one cabochon. The hinged opening reveals a vermeil interior. The hallmarks "sterling" and a "C" are stamped on one side, along with the swan control mark. Art Deco period. Country of origin unknown (possibly the United States). Some fine scratches are visible. Weight 142 grams.
