A very fine Transition period commode in veneered wood with cube marquetry, featuring five doors, including a central door dating from the 13th century (Louis XV/16th), topped with its original 13th-century white marble slab. Fully restored, including marquetry and bronze mounts, and finished with French polish. Includes a key. Work in the style of the great master cabinetmaker Pierre Migeon (1733-1775). Dimensions of the commode with its marble slab: 104 cm long x 50 cm wide x 85 cm high. Marble 104 x 50 x 3 cm thick. Delivery possible upon request.
