Charming portrait, oil on wood panel, not cradled, representing a young girl of quality, in a silk dress, blue ribbon and lace; high pictorial quality, the work is presented in "good" condition, nevertheless in its old varnish, possibility of "restoring" it in our workshop, on quote, it is presented in a rich carved and gilded wood frame of style 52 by 64 with the frame. This "rare and elegant portrait" can be attributed to the workshop of George Romney, English painter of the 18th century 1734-1802, known for his beautiful portraits such as Lady Hamilton, the Countess of Warwick and her children or Lady Hamilton;
