Bookends By Marcel Guillemard (1886-1932)
Pair of animal-themed bookends depicting two squirrels in silvered bronze in an Art Deco style, with marble bases. These pieces were created by Marcel Guillemard (1887-1932), the iconic decorator and designer of the Primavera workshop at the Printemps department store. They are in good overall condition, with minor dents on the edges of the marble bases (visible in the photos) and a few micro-scratches on the bronze.
