Venetian Walnut Tripod Table With Radial Inlaid Top – Early 19th Century

Elegant Venetian centre table, likely from the Vicenza area, dating from the very early 19th century.The round walnut top features a refined radial inlay, created using selected woods chosen for their grain and chromatic depth. With a diameter of 55 cm, the top retains an attractive antique patina, typical of late-18th- and early-19th-century Venetian craftsmanship.
The edge shows slight undulations and minor age-related marks; the surface displays natural movement of the wood without affecting stability or readability. On the rear section of the table, some old veneer replacements along the lower edge are visible, the result of past interventions.
The apron includes a front drawer; the original lock has been replaced in recent times with a modern one, while maintaining full functionality. The structure stands on three elegant sabre-shaped solid walnut legs, giving the piece balance and graceful proportions.
Overall, the table is in good condition, with an excellent patina and a fully authentic antique character.
