[ART] - Le Charivari, from November 15, 1841 to March 31, 1842. Paris, At the magazine's offices, 1841-1842; folio, approximately 500 pp., half brown calf binding, smooth spine, marbled edges. An essential 19th-century magazine, its most notable authors included Taxile Delord and Agenor Altaroche, and its most prominent caricaturists included Gavarni, Philipon, Nadar, Gustave Doré, Henri Rochefort, Cham, and Honoré Daumier.
