Magnificent chaise longue/daybed/bed with burgundy, raspberry pink, and off-white upholstery. This magnificent chaise longue, dating from the Napoleon III/Second Empire period, features a wide, outward-curving backrest that provides exceptional comfort. The upholstery and padding are new. The motifs and borders are in burgundy and raspberry pink velvet. It has a toadstool style with fringed edges. The original legs are made of ebonized wood. Sold with its matching upholstery cushion. A wonderful example of 19th-century French craftsmanship.
