India, mid-20th century, a very beautiful bronze hanging bell adorned with a representation of the goddess Tripura, the embodiment of beauty and one of the forms of Parvati. She is seated in the lotus position. Two of her hands display attributes, while the other two are in dyana mudra, conveying a state of deep meditation. The bell itself is graceful and produces a lovely, clear sound. Dimensions: Height of the bell alone 21 cm - Total height with chain to the top of the hook 70 cm. Good condition. The scale reference in the last photograph is a small model of a well-known brand of lighter.
