The lid is decorated with a perimeter border carved with small beading, and features a central oval brass plaque originally intended for personal engravings.
Inside, the box includes a removable drawer with shaped compartments for cutlery. The interior is lined with dark blue fabric, typical of early 20th-century English production.
Some light surface scratches are present on the exterior.
