"Crystal Glasses"
Val Saint Lambert – Set of 11 double-layered cut crystal wine glasses – “Chinon” pattern – produced in the 1950s–1960s. Mid-20th century.
Each glass features a bowl in a different color (blue, green, pink, mauve, amber, etc.), cut in inverted triangular panels with a “crushed frost” decoration underneath.
Slender stems, a small bow, and a star-shaped base: all the hallmarks of fine Belgian crystal.
As is often the case with this pattern, the glasses are unsigned, which is perfectly consistent with the production of this period.
