Neo-gothic Box With A Coat Of Arms Featuring Three Fleurs-de-lis Surmounted By A Crown, 19th Century
A rare and beautiful wall-mounted box with a neo-Gothic door on the front, decorated with tracery and pointed arches adorned with interlacing patterns reminiscent of the Flamboyant Gothic style, and featuring a central coat of arms with three fleurs-de-lis surmounted by a crown.
The door has its original lock and key and can therefore be secured. The top of the box is crowned with a molded cornice.
This 19th-century box served as a large key box, as evidenced by the numerous hooks still present inside. Note that the base has a few cracks.
