Superb large monastery table, elm top and walnut base. Late 19th century. Very thick top made of a single plank edged with strips of wood, all pegged together. Easy to use with its recessed legs, saving space. Ideal for 14 to 18 place settings. Beautiful original waxed patina. Very good condition, solid and stable.
