Large flat desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer with exceptional gilt bronze decoration (caryatids, rosettes, claw feet, etc.). The gilt leather, tooled in small areas, is faded in places but retains its original patina. It might be necessary to revive the color by waxing it. There is a slight old scratch on the right corner of the top (see photo).
