"Hand-painted Miniatures Of 18th-century Women, Signed After Van Loo"
These miniatures date from the 19th century and were hand-painted. The one on the right is signed after Van Loo, while the one on the left is inscribed "after Dravais." These miniatures are beautifully executed with great finesse. Their overall condition is good; however, one pane is missing, there are some small chips on the frames, and a few small stains in places. Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of these works. The Van Loo family was a dynasty of French painters of the 17th and 18th centuries, of Dutch origin, who settled in France in the 17th century. For condition details, please examine the photos carefully. Feel free to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description.
