"Bar Cabinet Attributed To Maurice Jallot "
This exceptional piece, attributed to Maurice Jallot, served as a bar, but could certainly have other uses. This rosewood cabinet opens with two doors covered in gold leaf surrounding a rectangular lacquered motif reminiscent of those by Jean Durand. The light sycamore interior features a top with two integrated drawers and a simple shelf, all adjustable to three different heights by a system of pegs. A rosewood drawer is located at the bottom. The gold leaf on the doors extends along part of the sides before giving way to the precious wood in a relief effect. The front legs are slightly curved and terminate in bronze sabots. This piece is finished with an elegant glossy varnish and is in perfect condition.
