Leather Case Stamped With 18th-century Gold
A rare tan leather case, tooled in gold with small designs on a wooden core. The lid is slightly domed. It originally contained six vermeil liqueur glasses (unfortunately now lost). The interior is lined with leather decorated with gold thread. In good condition. Strasbourg, circa 1770. References: Book "Vermilleux," Kugel Gallery.
