Pair Of Beaded Silk Shoes – Circa 1880 – Heennessy's, New York

A very fine pair of women's shoes dating from around 1880, crafted from ivory silk delicately adorned with white glass beads forming refined floral motifs.

Each shoe is embellished with a satin bow, also embroidered with beads, typical of elegant late 19th-century fashion. I
nside, the stamp reads: Heennessy's – Butte and Wichert Gardiner, New York, a firm renowned for the quality and refinement of its creations.

Dimensions: 23 cm x 6 cm.

Condition: Good overall condition for their age; minor damage to the back of one shoe (visible in the photos) and a small seam that needs repair, but not serious.
Remarks: A very beautiful model, ideal for completing a period outfit, a collector's mannequin, or enriching an antique fashion collection.
