Pewter bowl with openwork console-shaped handles and a domed lid with a daisy-shaped finial, decorated with a "lace-making" style motif, unique for this type of bowl.
Stamped ownership mark: LLF.
Hallmarks very worn:
1° - control mark: C /---/ (--)EPPE / …/.
2° - trace of the hallmark of Marie Anne Reine PILON, active from 1796, identifiable by analogy with more legible examples: figure with a crosier / MP.
Length: 29.6 cm.
DIEPPE, Before 1817.

Rare provenance in very good condition.
