Opening with a large drawer in the frieze of the front, it is topped with a white marble slab with gray veining, surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery. Its uprights, with their rusticated columns, are joined by a stretcher shelf. Beautiful gilt bronze ornamentation includes the gallery, drawer pulls, keyhole escutcheons, rings, sabots, and the frames of the drawer, stretcher, and sides. The wood is of fine quality. It has its key. A fine piece of craftsmanship with clean and elegant lines.
