A small lady's writing desk veneered in rosewood marquetry with butterfly wing motifs within rosewood frames. It opens with a drop-front revealing compartments and drawers, and two doors. The uprights are canted. Small cabriole feet. Stamped by Jean-Baptiste DETROULLEAU, Master in 1767. Louis XV period, 18th century.
