Elegant early 19th-century Italian Empire-style chandelier, sometimes called a "hot air balloon" chandelier. The structure is made of wrought iron and period-gilt wood. The antique-cut crystals form chains and garlands of almond and myrza blossoms. The 12 light arms are electrified. The basket can be extended by 10 cm.
