A dark green cloisonné vase decorated with vividly colored enamels, depicting a majestic eagle perched on a rock amid the waves, in the moment before taking flight. The decoration is executed with fine silver wires outlining the enamels, enriched with refined details in the feathers and wings of the eagle.
Period: Meiji, late 19th century.
