Today, Cinna has become a French brand of high-end contemporary furniture, known for its modern designs and its commitment to French manufacturing. Annie Hieronimus, born in 1945, showed an early interest in art and design. She trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where she acquired a solid foundation that would inform her approach to furniture. She began her career in the 1960s, a period of intense experimentation in design, and quickly distinguished herself with creations that combined comfort, functionality, and aesthetics. Her work with renowned manufacturers helped to bring her designs to a wider audience. Among her most striking creations is the Sandra seating line, a symbol of her ergonomics and mastery of materials. This series helped establish her as a leading figure in French design. Some of her works have entered the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, attesting to the institutional recognition of her work. Her oeuvre also includes textile creations, decorative objects, and various collaborative projects, all imbued with this same sensitivity to form, comfort, and innovation.
