Charles-Louis Muller 1815-1892. A student of Baron Gros and Léon Cogniet, he exhibited at the Salon from 1834 onwards. He decorated several ceilings in the Louvre Museum. Museums: Ajaccio, Amiens, Carcassonne, Le Havre, Lille, London (Wallace Collection), Lyon, Mulhouse, Paris, Versailles.

Condition : slight horizontal crease across the bottom of the sheet along its entire width.
