"Set Of 6 Limoges Porcelain Coffee Cups, Raynaud, Promenade Au Palais Royal "
Set of 6 Limoges porcelain coffee cups and saucers, Raynaud, Promenade Au Palais Royal. One of the most prestigious services from the Raynaud company in Limoges. The cartouche motifs evoke the customs of the "Incroyables" and "Merveilleuses," the eccentric youth of Paris during the Directory period, and are inspired by an engraving by Louis Carrogis, known as Carmontelle (1795-1799). All the figures and foliage are hand-painted before being glazed with colored enamels and dusted with pure gold. Note that one cup has two flaws: a small chip at the base and a slight hairline crack at the top rim. The other five are in excellent condition. Dimensions: Diameter at the rim: 6.9 cm; Height without handle: 5.7 cm; Height with handle: 8.5 cm; Capacity approximately 10 cl. Discover many other items on our website: https://www.temps-dantan.fr/
