"Important Daum Art Deco Centerpiece Bowl, 1925-1930"
Important Art Deco Daum bowl, circa 1925-1930. Excellent condition, with minor scratches from use. Weight: 6.6 kg. This pleated glass bowl by Daum Nancy, signed and with an impressive diameter of 49 cm, is a fine example of Art Deco production. Daum masterfully controlled violet hues using blowing and fusing techniques with colored powders, creating iridescent and translucent effects that magically capture the light. This violet tone, between light purple and mauve, was prized for its refined elegance, evoking late Art Nouveau while remaining firmly within the Deco style.
