This work could be a tribute to the Post-Impressionist painter from Aix-en-Provence, Paul Cézanne. He is depicted in profile in his studio, his palette in the foreground, identifiable by his black beard and long nose. In the background, we can recognize a painting of Paul Cézanne's Bathers; however, we have not been able to identify this version within his oeuvre.
