Around 1896, she studied under Alexandre François Bonnardel (1867-1942) at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Lyon, then under Marie Laforge, Marcel Baschet, Henri Royer, and Édouard Toudouze at the Académie Julian in Paris.
