Rare 19th-century folding officer's chair in solid turned wood and embossed leather. The woodwork is turned and ringed. The back supports are curved to provide excellent support. The leather of the back and seat is embossed in a Gothic style with floral motifs in the spandrels and bands. The armrests are made of leather straps. This chair is rare and sturdy.
