Pair Of 19th Century Cassolettes
A pair of cassolettes/candleholders in chased and gilded bronze and Vert de Mer marble. Each has a concave, triangular marble base, three curved goat's legs joined by a ring, terminating in a ram's mask at the shoulder, supporting the spherical body of the vase. The vase features an openwork bronze mount, applied to the vase, which supports the lid adorned with a finial that also serves as a candleholder. 19th century. Height: 34 cm
