Louis XVI Period Mahogany Dining Table
A beautiful, extendable Louis XVI period table from the late 18th century, crafted from Cuban mahogany. The slightly oval top, made of solid mahogany, terminates in two drop leaves. It rests on elegant, tapered, canted legs ending in bronze sabots and casters. Currently fitted with a mahogany-veneered extension leaf matching the original design, it offers the possibility of adding three extensions. Simple and elegant, this lovely table is presented in excellent condition. Fully extended, it measures 3.10 meters and is 72 cm high, typical of a truly Louis XVI period table.
