Kozuka in iron inlaid with gilded copper, decorated with a cicada, Chinese characters, and a cartouche; the blade is signed. Saya in glossy black lacquered wood, decorated on both sides in maki-e with a cherry blossom; kojiri in inlaid copper, decorated with a butterfly framed by gilded chrysanthemums; important kurigata in silvered and gilded copper, decorated with a butterfly and a chrysanthemum on one side and One side features a snail and the other an insect.
