A cut crystal stair railing ball, most likely by Baccarat, with faceted decoration and a gilt bronze mount, dating from the 19th century. This ball is in good condition and of superb quality. Note: there are micro-chips and scratches on the crystal, as well as some soiling and wear consistent with age (see photos).
