Object description :

"Early 19th Century Mahogany Bookcase"
Superb early 19th-century English mahogany bookcase from the William IV period.
This beautiful English mahogany piece stands out by its high quality and small size, which gives it considerable charm. Indeed, it is rare to find a bookcase of this size: not too tall and 91cm wide.
The lower section has a door, while the upper section is glazed and the door is decorated with astragal glazed wood molding, typical of English bookcases.

A very fine example with carved uprights and mahogany with a superb flame.
Original shelves with a beautiful patina.
in superb condition.
