This substantial "Waves" vase, with its striking decorative appeal and highly stylized lines, is distinguished by its exceptional craftsmanship and thick glass with frosted and polished finishes, giving it magnificent depth and a beautiful play of light. This rare piece from André Hunebelle's oeuvre was featured in the magazine "La Renaissance de l'Art Français" in 1928, as well as in the 1929 catalogue "L'Art Moderne dans la Verrerie." It bears the embossed signature "A. Hunebelle" within the decoration and "A. Hunebelle, R. Cognéville FRANCE" on the base. Height: 21.5 cm. Diameter: 22 cm. Very good condition.
