Vase With Azurette Decor Charles Schneider, French Glass Circa 1923-1926 Era Daum, Muller
Multi-layered vase by master glassmaker Charles Schneider for the "Le Verre Français" glassworks, baluster-shaped with a widened ovoid body and a wide shower foot. "Azurette" model decoration engraved in reserve with brilliant bulbs with petal motifs reworked on the wheel and pistils in slight relief. Intense and luminous colors of ultramarine blue, cobalt blue and royal blue on a sky blue background speckled with turquoise blue interlayer powders. Azurettes model created only between 1923 and 1926. Signature "Le Verre Français" and "France" on the foot.
