Art Deco blue molded glass ashtray. Created for the 1931 Colonial Exhibition. Represents the hollow profile of a Mangbetu woman. A similar model in white glass is kept at the Army Museum (see photo). Good condition with micro scratches from use. 13.2 x 11.2 x 2.2
