Spectacular triple glass vase of circular shape with a flat shouldered body and a shuttle neck. Rare and magnificent decoration engraved in deep acid reserves of purple trees in the foreground, a panoramic view of the bay of Rio animated by birds in shades of purple on an orange-white opaque background. Superb luminous rendering! Exotic decorations are very rare in the production of Gallé cameo vases, the views of Rio are limited to half a dozen different decorations for an estimated production of 200 vases.
