Painter born in Mulhouse in 1893 and died in Algiers in 1961. From December 1918 he returned to Algiers where he was a student of Rochegrosse. Painter of the group known as the painters of "Poetic Reality" with Cavaillés, Lejeult, Planson, Brianchon. Friend of the painter Marquet. Oil on canvas located on the back, banks of the Seine and Marne, the wash-house boat, signed lower right.
