"Dutch Style Dressing Table, Napoleon III Period"
This Dutch-style dressing table dates from the Napoleon III period. Its top is made of rosewood veneer and features a delicate plant or floral decoration in light wood, embellished with bone inlays; it also includes a drawer. The piece rests on four twisted legs, the whole being joined by an X-shaped spacer. The top lifts to give access to the dressing section, revealing storage compartments located in the rear part of the drawer. The interior is veneered in maple and highlighted with a brass rod. This piece of furniture can be placed in a bedroom as a dressing table or console table, and will also fit perfectly in a living room, for example.
