Model 1848, cast bronze in the shape of a spearhead with a molded base, surmounted by a cartouche with the initials "RF" in relief, French Republic. H 34.5 cm. W 12 cm France. Second Republic, presidency of Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte, 1848-1852. Good condition. This model was taken up in 1871 for the Third Republic.
