Marquetry Liqueur Cellar, Napoleon III Period – Mid-19th Century
Beautiful liqueur cellar in rosewood marquetry with ivory fillets forming hexagons. The eventful facade is accompanied by cut sides on the sides. The lid and the protruding base are surrounded by bronze rods highlighting the curves of this refined object. The lock is functional and has its adjusted key. Upon opening we discover four decanters and eight crystal glasses. The decanters are decorated with gilded ornamentation and each has a collar with a plaque engraved with the names of spirits.
